During September and October, I had the pleasure of working as a student teacher with a first grade Collaborative Team Teaching classroom at P.S. 124, The Yung Wing Elementary School, located in New York City's Chinatown.
Throughout my two months with class 1-204, I was able to teach students in one-on-one, small group, and whole class settings. I was also able to plan units and lessons in all of the classroom subjects, including mathematics, reading, writing, and social studies.
